Racket School to Delémont

Racket School

What if your child found their new favourite sport?
Tennis, padel, badminton, pickleball: a coaching school for 5-15 year olds, in an indoor, friendly and welcoming environment.

  • 4 racket sports

Tennis, padel, badminton and pickleball, under one roof.

  • 5-15 year

Groups of 4 to 6 children, supervised by a professional.

  • 2 times a week

Wednesday afternoon and Saturday morning, in one-hour sessions.

  • 7/7 covered and air-conditioned

We play all year round, whatever the weather outside.

The principle

How is it going?

Simple operation, designed so that every child can find their sport and progress at their own pace.

  1. 01

    He is coming to try

Tennis, padel, badminton or pickleball: your child tries the sport of their choice during a complimentary first hour, then signs up if they like it.

  2. 02

He is reversing into his parking space

Wednesday afternoon or Saturday morning, one hour per session, in a small group. Term starts on 2nd September.

  3. 03

    He's levelling up

He is placed according to his actual ability, not his age. An assessment at the end of each term validates every transition.

The subjects

Four rackets, one park

One school, four sports to try, on the modular surfaces of the Raiffeisen Parc.

  • Tennis

The great classic: coordination, footwork and first rallies on two indoor courts.

  • Padel

Accessible straight away, addictive very quickly. A team sport where you learn while having fun, with no pressure.

  • Badminton

Fast and technical: reflexes, precision of movement and lots of laughs at the net.

  • Pickleball

The latest addition: light racket, short court, immediate feel.

The progression

Five levels, no age groups

The groups are formed according to the child's actual ability. An assessment at the end of the term validates each progression.

  1. Level 1

    Initiation

First steps: hold the racket, aim, position yourself. You play straight away.

  2. Level 2

    Progression

We are consolidating the basics and gaining consistency in the rally.

  3. Level 3

    Advanced training

Constructed rallies, initial tactical intentions, greater autonomy.

  4. Level 4

    Autonomy

Full game: the child leads their match and continues to progress alone.

  5. Level 5

    Competition

Tailor-made programme for players who have their sights set on the tournament.

The framing

Lauriane Hurtaud

Qualified tennis coach and childcare educator (ES)

Teaching a six-year-old and a fourteen-year-old is not the same job. Lauriane does both: her dual technical and pedagogical background enables her to manage the group, tailor her expectations to each individual and keep the hour lively from start to finish. As a marathon runner, she also knows what it means to make long-term progress.
